Day 14 Time to say goodbye to Morocco

6am Alarm, no call to prayer 
All our bags are packed even the djellaba fitted in.
The taxi to the airport is booked for 7.30am 300MAD so just time for a quick breakfast 
Taxi on time, approx 45 min journey to airport.
We leave as the sun is rising, the temperature is 10c the same as forecasted when we arrive back in the UK. 
Check in on Ryan air app is easy and usually not a problem leaving until the last minute until on this occasion in the taxi it asks us to print our boarding tickets. 
Fortunately not to much stress as we arrived at the airport with plenty of time. The information were extremely helpful and told us that the downloaded printable boarding cards on my phone should be OK and that if Ryan air asked us to pay at bag checkin to come back and they would print them for free.
No needed to have worried, by 9am We are in the small departure lounge drinking Moroccan coffee at European price of 3euros each with our hand written boarding cards. A step back on time.
Tangiers airport is far smaller than I imagined and somewhat dated.

Day 3: Next stop Marakkesh

6am Early alarm (call to prayer). Hope to squeeze everything back in our rucksacks in time for a quick breakfast before getting to the bus station for 9am. 1smc 8am No signs of breakfast staff, so decided to forfeit it and not rush. Left 150MD- (2.50pp,pn) for local tax on reception and headed out loaded up onto the very quite streets of the Medina. Nowhere opens early but children were on the way to school although it was Saturday, Holy day was Friday. 8.45am Arrived at Bus office with loads of time paid another 10Mdr (80p) to put both bags in hold having paid the 100Mdr (£8) each yesterday for our fare Supratours bus Essaouira to Marakkesh 9.15am  off on time, pringles and warm water for breakfast.Time to catch up with the blog. 10.30am comfort stop Sidi Mokhtar, Boots snacked on a pain au chocolate 10mdr (80p). Day 2: Waking up for a day in Essaouira

6am  Having eventually fallen to sleep despite the roof terrace being a communal smoking area where other slightly noisy visitors came to take their last daily intake of nicotine or vape. (Slightly jealous as no nightcap for us), not to mention the cats and seagulls who were partying on in the night! The call to Pray has started. It is now  7.50am The call to pray crescendo lasted until 6.30am the early riser have had their first nicotinie and the seagulls are still partying. Time to wake boots and start exploring. A Breakfast not to be faulted. Even the coffee was good.This morning we decided to explore the Medina area of Essaouira whilst Geo-caching.
